Located right on the beach and surrounded by banana fields, our surf camp offers modern amenities and european standards.

Car rental : (30€/day/car) We provide you with a car rental service, all you need to do is let us know you need one and we will book it for you, the car will be waiting or you the day you arrive, along with surf racks to hold your surfboards. Easy and smooth !

Yoga: (From 8€/class)
Take advantage of our sunrise and sunset yoga classes. Yoga has many benefits on your body & mind, one of which is making you more fit and flexible before the morning session, and will relax and strech your muscles after a full day of surfing to make you recover faster. Once you’ve tried it, you can’t live without it !

Culture, excursions :
The region is culturally rich, and when out of the water you will be able to make the most of the delicious moroccan cuisine and maybe enjoy a massage, go to the hammam or visit the Agadir souk (market) to take a beautiful piece of moroccan handicraft back home.
There are possibilities for other activities nearby: golf, fishing, camel and horse riding, quad, trips to Paradise valley etc.

Lodging

The Villa :
Our bedrooms are nice and cosy with ocean or inner garden view. You can choose from double or twin bed configuration. They are located in independent appartments with all modern comfort: broadband Wifi, TV, bathroom + separate toilets and a kitchen for those willing to cook for themselves.

The roulottes :
This is one of the most original features of our camp !
With a beautiul sea view, they have been designed to provide optimal comfort while keeping this unique “out of time” feeling that will satisfy the adventurous souls. They are equipped with double beds and a bathroom with dry toilets, providing you great comfort in the coolest root atmosphere.

Meal Plan

We offer delicious moroccan cuisine :

- Picinic on the beach (packed lunch)

Sport Services

The Taghazout area is one of the best places you can find to learn surfing, because it hosts many spots that are sheltered from big swells, thus delivering small and easy waves to progress in total safety without dangerous rips.
As a beginner or intermediate level surfer, you will be guided every day to the best and safest spot for your ability. Our accredited surf instructors will guide you through each step of the learning process to optimise your learning curve.
Specially designed for beginners and intermediate levels, our surf teaching programme will focus on teaching you the art of surfing a wave safely and in a fun way, taking your level and your experience with the ocean into account.
We will do our best to give you one obsession after your trip : coming back !

Packages

Zen Surf Coaching package
Includes 5 coached sessions per week. A session lasts about 3 hours, usually in the morning, with a packed lunch on the beach. The rest of the day, you will be guided to the safest spot for your ability where you can surf under the supervision of a surf coach, to whom you can ask all the advices you need.
You can also just go back to our house and relax on a terrace looking at the ocean and go for a surf at Banana Point if you feel like to.

Perfectly exposed for a N/W swell coming down, generated by depressions from Northern Atlantic, the Moroccan coast gets all kind of waves. Thanks to the wind protection in some rocky beachbreak spots, conditions can turn out fantastic in winter with 1 to 3.50m waves.
From May to September, conditions are more hazardous and less regular but you can have some very good sessions.

Spots

Our location is quite unique for the surf spots around accessible in less than 5 minutes walk, mainly Banana Point, but not only. Banana Point is a classic spot offering a combination of advantages that few other spots have: a friendly atmosphere in the water, a perfect shool wave that is long, forgiving and easy to ride, and, when it gets big, one of the best point break in the area.
Because riding a solid Banana Point is an unforgettable memory and requires good surfing skills. We also have two other spots on the same beach: Douze and Onze.
Douze is a nice lefthander with a steep take-off that gets quite mellow afterwards. It also offers a righthander which can get really good.
Onze offers quite the same set-up, but with an even steeper take-off, for more experienced surfers, and can deliver amazing rides. All these spots are immediately accessible within a very short walk.
The lucky ones choosing the surf guiding package will be guided to the best working spots in the North Agadir area: Anchor Point, Killer Point, Mysteries, Boiler’s, etc…

Surf Story

The first trip ! With a Renault 4L, a bicolour Super 5, a Nevada break, a Peugeot courier or an old VW Euro van…The road is going to be long, heading due South.

Worry, anxious, sick of winter, dreaming about waves unrolling near Safi, la pointe des Ancres, la Banane, Bouilloires or more down South at the entrance of the desert…
If you want to learn more about surfing, you need to stop there. This is the ideal excursion from October to May to get ready before the season on the French coasts.

History

In the Western minds, Morocco embodies all the Eastern seductions. A myth that is still establishing itself: Marrakech, Rabat’s mosques, Fes’ medina, an adventure from the Atlas Mountains to the desert’s immensity…
You definitely have to understand the romantic fascination that Morocco has exerted on the Western artists.
Imperial cities, Berber Kasbahs, sumptuous mosques…the former French protectorate knows how to take the various faces of an Eastern charmer.
Its gastronomy reveals new tastes in every meal; its snowy summits and its canyons seduce those who are insensitive to the vastness of the desert’s charm. Its coastal towns are resting-places after the visit of the medinas, its cities take turn with the red-ochre ramparts and the doors slightly carved and gilded.

Geography

Morocco is a country bordering both seas: the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
In the Centre, the Rif and Atlas Mountain chains that block the scenery. From this diversity of grounds was born a great variety of Moroccan landscapes which are among the most beautiful of the world.

The Atlantic coast is spreading out 2 800 km wide, whereas the Mediterranean coast only has 530 km of coast. It is bordered of plains (Sebou, Mesema and Sous) which are the most populated and rich regions of the country.
Beautiful beaches, harbours, and large centres like Casablanca, Safi and Rabat are following one another.

FORMALITIES :
A valid Passport is required for travelling without any hotel reservation. European Union nationals whose stay (3 hotel nights max) has already been paid at a travel agency can be satisfied with their national ID.

LANGUAGE :
Today, like every Arabic country, we distinguish the classic Arabic (or literary, accessible to the literate people) which is the language of education, administration and medias from the dialectal Arabic, spoken language that change according to the regions and the social classes.
Berber is the second language, used in many Moroccan regions. Most Moroccans who went to school can speak French.

HEALTH :
No vaccine is required by the authorities for those coming from Europe. Some vaccines yet are useful for the traveller’s own safety.

TIME DIFFERENCES :
Morocco is set to the Greenwich meridian time (GMT). When it is noon in France, it is 10.AM in Morocco in summer and 11.AM in winter.

WEATHER :
Morocco’s climate is very different according to the regions: Mediterranean in the North, Atlantic in the West and Saharan in the South. Only the coastal regions are temperate. It also changes according to the seasons. Temperature gaps are sometimes very large in the same day.

DRIVING CONDITIONS :
Moroccans have their own way to read the road signs. Here, everything can happen; therefore you need to pay attention.
You should not drive at night. In case of accident, call right away the consulate and then the Police (very often you are first locked up and you may talk later).

WATER/ELECTRICITY :
Avoid fresh juices outside of hotels, ice cubes, milk and seafood outisde hotels or restaurant. The mineral water has to be opened in front of you.

CURRENCY :
Moroccan’s money is Dirham. 10 dirhams (Dh) is about 1 euro. Credit cards are accepted in most important institutions (hotels, restaurants, shops) and in most gas stations.
There are also in the large centres ATM machines where you can withdraw dirhams with most credit cards.
